How to Detangle a Wig

Tangles and friction frizz are very common in longer looks in wigs. You can easily comb them out by using a wide tooth comb, a few clips and Revive Liquid Enhancement by Rene of Paris. 

  1. STEP 1: Section Off the HairTo get started, section the hair, this will make it much easier to control the hair.
  2. STEP 2: Spray Revive Liquid Enhancement by Rene of ParisStarting from the bottom stay back about 6 inches away from the hair and spray a little bit of the Revive Liquid Enhancement, starting at the ends. Work in the product with your fingers by running your fingers down the length of the section you’ve grabbed.
  3. STEP 3: Comb Through the HairStarting from the bottom up, hold the section of hair you are working with and begin to combing with a wide tooth comb through the hair to clear out any knots or tangles. Working your way up the section starting from the bottom. When combing through the piece you are working on, do not pull the section out and away from the piece, this could result in damaging the piece. Always remember if you have a tangle and its really knotted make sure you’re holding the section of hair with your hand and not pulling on your wig. This may take a little bit of time to do your whole style but by using Revive Liquid Enhancement by Rene of Paris it will certainly be smoother process.
  4. STEP 4: Complete the Process on the Whole WigYou can always go back in with the same product and a little bit of holding spray to redefine your curls. It’s really important to take really good care of your wigs and to use products formulated specifically for synthetic hair to help increase the life span of your wig.
  5. STEP 5: Finish the Style to Your LikingOnce you’ve styled your piece to your liking, you can go back in and add a little bit more Revive to add more texture and shine. Add a little bit more product and finish off by running your fingers through the hair that you’ve just given a nice new look to
